Happy New Year to one and all. Last year was a year of huge change for Boylan Talks Sport – and its owner – and this year I have even greater developments and expansion planned, so please stay tuned.

Starting with the fact that from now on the plan is to post selections for every race meeting in Ireland. Yes there might be days missed here and there due to physical and/or mental health problems, but if I don’t try I’ll never know.

Admittedly, I could’ve picked an easier launch pad than tonight’s card at Dundalk, but it is what it is. When the polytrack opened first, this corner had a very decent strike at the Co Louth venue – mostly by following Johnny Murtagh and Mick Halford – so hopefully I’ll get the eye in fairly quick. Here goes!
