LADIES FOOTBALL

The Brendan Martin Cup holders will open their season with a re-match against Cork – against whom they engineered a remarkable comeback in last August’s All Ireland semi final while near neighbours and beaten All Ireland finalists Dublin will be in the opposite corner in Round 3. At the time of typing there are no further fixtures available Eamon Murray’s charges. What can be confirmed however is that St Peter’s, Dunboyne will play Mourneabbey of Cork in the All Ireland Club SFC semi final on January 16th.
