Meath U-20 Football team vs. Down

Meath manager John McCarthy has made seven changes to the side which earned a draw against defending All Ireland champions Tyrone ahead of this afternoon’s Leo Murphy Cup clash away to Down.

As well as offering an opportunity to give as many members of his talented panel as possible some game time, it allows for the resting of some players whose schedules will already have been hectic at this early stage of the season due to their involvement in colleges competitions.

Sean Emmanuel of St Pat’s forms a new midfield combination with Dunboyne’s Jack Kinlough
