Meath make three changes for Kerry trip

Emma Duggan’s inclusion at centre field is most noteworthy of three changes announced by Meath manager Davy Nelson from the side which lost to Mayo ahead of the trip to Kerry in the latest round of the Lidl Ladies NFL.

While it seems highly unlikely the Dunboyne clubwoman will line out as selected, her inclusion anywhere would be a timely and massively needed boost.

Equally, if not even more so, will be the return of team captain Shauna Ennis. The Royals know nothing other than a win will prolong their defence of their league title. Worse still, a defeat would have them looking over their shoulders at the relegation trap door.

The final alteration sees Olivia Callan of Navan O’Mahonys return to the side. Aoife Minogue, Ailbhe Leahy and Shelly Melia are the trio to make way.
