Anyone sitting at the table needs a Jack in the pack!

Meath… 2-22

London… 2-21

Jack Regan pointed twice in injury time to ensure Meath left McGovern Park in Ruislip with their unbeaten record in this year’s Allianz NHL intact, but that only tells a fraction of the story. Now read on…

The prolific Kiltale clubman has been gradually introduced to Meath’s campaign in recent weeks, but, as the great players always do, Jack proved to be the lad to come up trumps when the Royals had nearly all their cards on the table.

Luckily for Meath, Jack Regan hit 13 points in Ruislip

That said, in the early stages, Seoirse Bulfin’s side had no aces left in the hold as goals from Jack Goulding and Eoin McHugh left them trailing by 0-07 to 2-05 after 21 minutes. There’s a steel in this Meath team, though, and, when livewire forward Eamon Og O’Donnchadh hit the net again shortly before half time, it left Meath trailing by just three, 1-11 to 2-11, half way through.

The Clann Na nGael star repeated the trick immediately after half time but the tourists still couldn’t shake off their hosts until Regan pulled out two Aces and left the exiles a busted flush.
