Three League newcomers for Royals

Mick Murphy, Ciaran Caulfield and Sean Coffey will make their Allianz National Football League debuts for Meath tomorrow as part of the team announced to take on Fermanagh.

Ballinabrackey’s Coffey holds the unusual distinction of having played Championship for the Royal County before featuring in the springtime competition.

Elsewhere, skipper Ronan Jones reverts to his more familiar midfield slot with Darragh Campion anchoring the defence. Interestingly, Donal Keogan reverts to where it all began for him in green and gold at corner back.

Finally, catching this writer’s eye among the subs are the return of James Conlon and the inclusions of Brian O’Halloran and Cian McBride.
