The third annual Meath Regional Football Championship All Star panel has been announced. Almost a week after Bru Na Boinne became the first ‘new’ outfit to lift the Richie Barry Cup after Boyne Valley had captured the first two incarnations of the competition sponsored by Brady’s Skoda and Ideal Bathrooms.
Bru finding the winning cocktail after a pulsating decider against An Tuaisceart at Donaghmore/Ashbourne on Saturday evening last. Their second feat of history making on the night lying in the fact that their manager, John McCarthy, has now trained two of the three winners of the event. Having guided Boyne Valley – which encompassed his native Walterstown – to capture the first two incarnations.
The Brady’s Skoda Regional Football Championship All-Stars will play a Meath Club Selection on Friday at 19:30 in Ashbourne.
Entry to the game is €10 and all gate money will be donated to the UNICEF Gaza Crisis Emergency Appeal.
