Young Royal stickmen get their journey underway

To begin a frantic few days as all Meath underage county teams get their respective competitive seasons under way, Meath Minor Hurling Manager Niall McKeigue has announced his panel for their Leinster MHC opener against Kildare in Trim.

The game has a 3.00pm throw-in time and will form the second part of an attractive looking double header after Johnny Greville’s Senior side take on Kerry in the National League two hours earlier. With the latter still officially in with a chance of making the Div. 2 Final, hopefully there will be a big turnout to get behind the two Royal County outfits.

The Minor panel is comprised of players from 11 different clubs, numerically, Trim lead the way with five, including their Captain, Conor Heffernan who will lead the side from wing back.
