Today’s intended fixture in Clonmel has been lost to inclement weather after sections of Powerstown Park were deemed to be frozen.

In a statement, the IHRB tweeted: “Following an inspection this morning, parts of tbe track @clonmelr were found to be unraceable. Therefore, today’s scheduled fixture has been cancelled”.

Meanwhile, with Fairyhouse having already lost their traditional New Year’s Day fixture on the calender, (Ran on Sun. 3rd) the venue is now in danger of losing their intended meeting for the weekend with parts of the Co Meath track currently be frozen.
