Jones returns as Meath beef up for Longford showdown

Ronan Jones makes his seasonal return to the Meath team for tomorrow night’s winner takes all O’Byrne Cup Round 3 encounter against Longford in Ashbourne. Throw in is at 8p.m.

The Dunboyne man hasn’t featured since coming on against Dublin in last summer Leinster SFC and his inclusion also coincides with the first outings for Eoin Harkin and Tomas O’Reilly and Donal Lenihan.

In another surprising development, Billy Hogan takes over between the posts from his brother Harry.
