Meath have announced the same starting 15 as that which began against Clare two weeks ago ahead of making the long trip to Owenbeg to take on Derry in Act III of this year’s Allianz NFL on Saturday evening. The game will be shown live on RTE and has a 5PM throw in.
Essentially, what the published line up means is that Adam O’Neill, Harry O’Higgins, Jack O’Connor and Donal Lenihan – who were late inclusions the last day – retain their places. Also, if the team lines out as selected, it will see Shane Walsh resume his position at top of the left, having only lasted only 13 minutes against Colm Collins’ charges because of a hamstring injury caused by the Sigerson Cup.

Afflicted by the same scourge picked up in the same nuisance of a competition, Dunshaughlin’s Mat Costello remains absent from the matchday panel.
