Three changes for U-20s

Meath manager John McCarthy has made three changes from the side which lost out to Laois last week ahead of Tuesday evening’s Leinster U-20 quarter final against Westmeath in Ashbourne.

Essentially, the triumvirate of alterations equate to three men returning who had started previously in the championship. Billy Hogan in goal, Ciaran Caulfield at wing forward and Alan Bowden in the full forward line.

Ratoath’s Liam Kelly is continuing Meath’s fine tradition of full backs

Making way are Oisin McDermott between the posts and both Tom Bowden and Ruairi Kinsella up front. Sean Emmanuel is absent from the matchday panel having been withdrawn last week early on due to a hamstring injury.

Bective’s Con Smith comes into the 24 for the first time while there are also a number of positional switches, most notably with Shaun Leonard re-located to top of the left.
