Meath team vs. Mayo in Christy Ring Cup

The Meath Senior hurlers will begin their bid for further silverware this season on Sunday afternoon with the commencement of their Christy Ring Cup campaign with a home tie against Mayo. Throw in at Pairc Tailteann is scheduled for 2.00pm.

Seoirse Bulfin’s selection shows seven changes from the side which competed in their last Christy Ring Cup fixture against Down in Ballycran last May. The Royals will be hoping to sustain the momentum which saw them go through their league campaign unbeaten and attain promotion by defeating Donegal in the NHL Div. 2B Final in Carrick-On-Shannon just a few short weeks ago.

Damien Healy has made the full back berth his own.
