Talented trio return to the bench for Derry date

The very experienced duo of Mark O’Sullivan (Kiltale) and Adam Gannon (Killyon) make welcome returns to the match day panel and are joined by Ciaran Lonergan of St Peter’s, Dunboyne ahead of Meath’s Christy Ring Cup Round 3 outing against Derry.

Other than the above, there are two changes in personnel from the side which came up short in London last week. Pa Ryan returns at centre field as an indirect replacement for his injured Trim colleague Ger Dwane while Dunboyne’s Sean Quigley comes in for Mikey Cole.

Sean Quigley has worked his way back into the starting 15 for Meath

The latter is a straight swap at corner forward but Dwane’s absence prompts something of a reshuffle with another Trim man, the aforementioned Ryan, going to his usual midfield berth as Mr Versatile, Seanie Geraghty, is stationed at right full back.
