Meath leave well enough alone where possible

Sean Geraghty coming in as a direct replacement for the suspended James Toher is the only change to the Meath senior hurling team from that which defeated Derry ahead of Saturday’s encounter against Tyrone at Pairc Tailteann.

That means that the great Mickey Burke is in line for what will be his 197th outing in a green and gold jersey when he joins Kilmessan’s Shane Brennan and Brendan McKeon of Kildalkey on the full back line.

Among the subs, Seoirse Bulfin’s side receive a major boost with the return of the very talented James Murray (Trim) to the fold while there’s a first inclusion in the matchday panel for St Peter’s, Dunboyne’s Ciaran Lonergan.

The very talented James Murray is listed among the Meath subs for the first time this season
