Seconds out for Round 2 of the Regionals

With the exception of one game being switched from Cortown to Ballinlough, Round 2 of the Brady’s Skoda Regional Football Championships has thus far survived the inclement weather conditions.

No doubt the situation will be continually monitored in relation to tomorrow night’s fixtures, but, in Tuesday evening’s encounters, both Ardbraccan and Tara will endeavour to get off the mark when they clash in Dunganny. There’s sure to be plenty of interest in the presence of Cian McBride with the former once again.

The night’s other match will feature Lough Crew Gaels aiming to bag their first points in this season’s competition when they take on a Blackwater side who snatched an unlikely victory in their opening outing thanks to a belter of a goal from their Captain Brian O’Reilly from the St Michael’s club.
