The teams have been announced for what thankfully looks to have become an annual fixture between a Meath 15 – drawn from a panel which Colm O’Rourke has had in training since the end of the club championships – and the Regional Championship All Stars. The latter have been announced last week. It just seems a great pity that the game was fixed with such haste and slated for a Monday night as there are sure to be plenty of points of interest.
Anyway, the Royal County line up features senior inter county debuts for the Dunboyne duo of Michael Murphy and Jack Kinlough, Mark Coffey of Ballinabrackey, Niall Murphy of Curraha, Summerhill’s Adam McDonnell, the returned Cian McBride and Ruairi Kinsella of Dunshaughlin.
