Having qualified for the Richie Barry Cup final during its inaugural staging, home side Tara will be hoping to get their Regional Football Championship campaign off to a good start when, backboned by players from the host club, they take on An Tuaisceart at Kilbride today, Saturday, 2PM.
However, the name of those providing the opposition for Conor Scully’s side is a little misleading in that, as well as players from Nobber, Drumconrath and Castletown, Tadhg Boyle’s charges also have a contingent from recently relegated Curraha – who don’t appear to have a divisional team covering their area – and, quite significantly, Jordan Morris, who, despite playing hid club football with Kingscourt Stars will link up with his former Nobber teammates should he see game time.
