Sincere sympathy is extended to the family and friends of the late Mrs Joyce Farrell of Nobber Co Meath who passed on away yesterday (Thursday). The deceased, a native of Kingscourt in Co Cavan, was the wife of former Meath Minor and U-21 (now U-20) manager and senior selector Dudley Farrell and the mother to talented footballers Brian, Alan and Niall Farrell. All of whom have represented Nobber and Meath with distinction.
As a mark of respect, the Regional Football Championship semi final between An Tuaisceart – with whom Niall lines out – and Ardbraccan, scheduled for Dunganny tonight has been postponed and rescheduled for the same venue on Monday night at 8.00.
The other semi final between Loughcrew Gaels and Bru Na Boinne goes ahead as scheduled tonight at the same venue with an 8.20pm throw in. This match will be streamed live on Clubber.ie and we will (hopefully) have team news for same later on. So please keep an eye out for that.
