No Rowe for Dubs as Royals stay the same

Carla Rowe is a notable absentee from the Dublin starting 15 ahead of Sunday’s TG4 Leinster LSFC Final in Croke Park, while opponents Meath have named an unchanged line up from that which survived a late scare against Kildare in Newbridge on Sunday last.

Country Crest Farms employee Rowe will be joined on the Dublin bench by the also vastly accomplished Sinead Goldrick while, though named at midfield, it is unclear whether Lauren Magee will start or not. The great Hannah Tyrell will once again be the fulcrum of the blue and navy attack.

Dublin’s Carla Rowe

I do not believe either Paul Casey and/or Derek Murray would be foolhardy or disrespectful enough to outwardly display the fact that they think they can account for their neighbours whilst holding several A-Listers in dry dock. Of course, they very well may do so and in all honesty, outside of Meath, will be fancied to, but, if Shane McCormack’s team were in need of any extra motivation, they’ve just been handed it on a platter.

Meath: R Murray; A Sheridan, M.K. Lynch, K Newe; A Cleary (capt.), S Wall, K Kealy; O Sheehy, M Farrelly; M Thynne, N Gallogly, C Smyth; E Duggan, V Wall, K Cole.

Dublin: A Shiels; J Tobin, L Caffrey (capt.), N Donlon; H McGinnis, M Byrne, L Magee; É O’Dowd, G Kós; C O’Connor, C Darby, S McIntyre; H Tyrrell, N Hetherton, A Timothy.
