The inclusion of Antrim’s Josh Rock is probably the biggest talking point in relation to the declared runners for the forthcoming Premier League Darts which was announced this evening (Monday).
There’s no doubting the class of the man they call ‘Rocky’ or the merits of him being in the field. Where there would be entitled to be disquiet, though, would be in terms of some of those that were omitted while the World Cup winner got the nod.
Foremost among them the brilliant Danny Noppert, but also Ryan Searle, Rob Cross and Jermaine Wattimena can consider themselves hard done by to have missed.
