Believe half of what you see and a lower percentage of what you hear

On paper at least, Meath have made only one change ahead of Sunday’s NFL Div. 2 Round 4 meeting with Cork at Pairc Ui Rinn. But it would be no shock whatsoever if there’s at least one more to go along with it.

For what it’s worth, as per what has been published, the one alteration sees Conor Duke rewarded for a fine cameo against Louth last week with a starting berth in his customary No. 10 jersey. To facilitate this, Cian McBride reverts to the bench having been a late starter against the Wee County.

Daithi McGowan returns to the 26 for the first time since the O’Byrne Cup defeat to Offaly as the Royal County head for the Flower Lodge stadium for the first time in seven years.

Daithi McGowan returns to the Meath panel for Operation Rebel Storm!
