Dunboyne do Major amount to secure victory in first half

ST PETERS…5-14

SKRYNE…1-09

Despite there being a crestfallen cloud engulfing the black and amber camp after the senior team produced their best display of the season against Kilbride all to no avail, those in reserve for that one also put in a clinical shift to advance to the All County IFC semi final.

With the senior match throwing in at 2PM at the same venue (Donaghmore/Ashbourne), you do have to wonder why there was a three hour gap until this one. But perhaps the eventual victors in Act II used it as fuel.

Because they did the major part of the lifting for their day’s work in the first half. At the end of which they led by 4-07 to 1-06.
