Regional Football Championship – Round 1 team news – Game 2

Updated – 2/11/26 (5.05pm)

Boyne Valley manager Joe Cowley had senior sides Seneschalstown and Rathkenny and St Colmcille’s and beaten county finalists Donaghmore/Ashbourne among his deck of cards to pick from as his side set out to win their third Richie Barry Cup title in the four years since the championships inception.

Therein they would take an An Tuaisceart amalgam which, as the name would suggests, represents the north end of the county. From where, this year for example, they will have members of the Ballinlough side who were beaten by Curraha in the JFC Final.
