Four changes for final League fling

The Meath team to take on Kildare in tomorrow’s final round of the Allianz NFL shows four changes from that which lost out to Dublin last weekend.

At least one of the alterations is enforced with Donal Keogan’s incredible 83-game not-out streak ended after the inspirational Rathkennny clubman was forced off with a hamstring injury towards the end of last week’s derby at Pairc Tailteann.

Summerhill’s Ross Ryan slots directly into the skipper’s number five jersey, while wing forwards the last day, Jack O’Connor and Shane Crosby, are replaced by Daithi McGowan and Donal Lenihan respectively. The latter’s inclusion sees Mat Costello redeployed at centre forward with Jason Scully moved over to the left wing.

Finally, having kicked two fine scores when introduced at half time against the Dubs, Trim’s Aaron Lynch is rewarded with a first NFL start as Jordan Morris drops to the bench.
