Ladies try their hand at musical chairs

With the maddening practice of teams releasing bogus team sheets becoming as big a pandemic as the Covid yoke was a half decade ago (sic) there are times when one wonders is it worth writing pieces about  team announcements at all.

Yet persist we must, if for no other reason than the fact the people who attend matches, club  and/or county, at the very least deserve to know what players will be playing before they set about going to a match.

Rant over. Thus, as per what has been released, Meath Ladies manager Wayne Freeman has made one change to his team from that which beat Waterford last weekend.

Ahead of taking on Kildare in Hawkfield (Why in-the-name-a-jazus could it not be in St Conleth’s?) Dunboyne’s Sarah Wall returns to the starting 15 in place of Amy Gaffney of Ratoath. A straight reversal of the change Freeman et al made prior to the trip to Waterford.

Sarah Wall is recalled to the Meath defence

MEATH – R. Murray; A. Sheridan, M. K. Lynch, K. Kealy; S. Murphy, S. Wall, K. Bermingham; O. Sheehy, N. Gallogly; M. Farrelly, C. Smyth, M. Thynne; E. Duggan, R. Casserly, O. Finnegan.
