Tiger Woods has been taken to hospital after being involved in a car crash in Los Angeles on Tuesday morning.
The golfer was driving on his own near Rancho Palos Verdes when his vehicle flipped over, with firefighters later freeing him from the car using the jaws of life. No other vehicle is said to have been involved in the incident.
Though his exact condition is still unclear, reports claim Woods sustained leg injuries from the crash.

The 15-time Major winner’s manager, Mark Steinberg, commented: “Tiger Woods was in a single-car accident this morning in California where he suffered multiple leg injuries. He is currently in surgery and we thank you for your privacy and support.”
Woods won the 2019 US Masters after 11 years without a golfing major. The accident throws his participation in the 2021 Masters in huge doubt.
